IDEAS MANZIL is the most recent in a number of showrooms and galleries initiated by the proprietor, Mr. Barry Ison. The first was Shetuli, commenced in 1977 and located in Green Road .This was the first boutique showroom in Bangladesh. The second was called IDEAS International and was located in Gulshan , a  first craft boutique for that part of town . Another two followed, BI Design in Banani and The Craft Centre in Gulshan. This latest is not the largest but offers, possibly the best selection of valuable textiles and attractive gifts that Mr. Ison has yet displayed.
