IDEAS MANZIL is a ' heritage' guest house offering rooms furnished with antique furniture, silk drapes, brand new bathrooms and spacious bedrooms and sitting rooms. While Dhaka has a large number of guest houses, none reflect Bangladesh's rich culture of hospitality, craft and cuisine as creatively as IDEAS MANZIL and that is why IDEAS MANZIL was commenced.

It was opened in May 2008 and includes a restaurant on the roof built in a style similar to the Garo indigenous people's houses and can comfortably seat 45 to 50 guests. Just beyond the reception is a craft showroom which meanders  around hangings of antique and unique textiles, original leather products and a variety of interior decorator and gift items. Further inside the guest house is an art and antique gallery with a range of subjects and media choices to suite most walls.
